Basketball is one of my favorite things ever. I really enjoy watching, playing, or coaching it. I have probably consumed an embarrassing amount of basketball content whether it’s actual games or videos analysing the games and it’s individual players. I also have many different basketball podcasts I listen to. My friends and I also try to play basketball often which is always fun. Lastly, I coach a middle school basketball team. It’s really cool getting to teach the game to the youth as well as compete with them in games.
I really like watching movies. I try to watch at least one new one a week but sometimes just end up rewatching some. I have a letterboxd account where I review and rate films and see what my friends are watching. My account is charlie_akaVern if you want to see poorly written film reviews. I also really enjoy going to the movie theater. Always feels super nostalgic sitting down with some red vines and seeing a new blockbuster. Fun fact, the first thing I did after getting my hearing aids at three years old was see Curious George in theater.
I have many little hobbies that don’t deserve their own paragraphs. I like to collect legos sometimes, mainly Star Wars sets. I also really enjoy traveling with friends and family. I enjoy thrifting and collecting vintage clothes (mostly old t-shirts). I like to draw and design things, and hope to pursue product design in the future. Though I don’t often, I'm fond of hiking and backpacking trips.
