My name is Nick Reynolds and I am currently enrolled in the Graphic Design program at DCTC. I have built this simple site for Web Page Construction II. This website is to serve as an initial review of what we learned in Web Page Construction I.

I have a very wide taste when it comes to art but three art forms I particularly appreciate are graffiti art, stipple art, and auto racing livery art.

Graffiti Art

Graffiti art is a bold and expressive form of visual communication that often appears in public spaces such as walls, trains, and urban structures. It combines lettering, illustration, and color to convey personal style, social commentary, or cultural identity. Graffiti artists use techniques like spray painting, stenciling, and tagging to create work that is fast, energetic, and highly visual. Over time, graffiti has evolved from an underground movement into a respected art form that influences graphic design, fashion, and advertising.

Stipple Art

Stipple art is a detailed technique that uses countless small dots to create images, shading, and texture. By varying the density and placement of dots, artists can produce depth, contrast, and smooth gradients without using traditional lines or brush strokes. This method requires patience and precision, as complex images can take many hours to complete. Stipple art is commonly seen in illustrations, scientific drawings, and fine art where a highly detailed and textured look is desired.

Auto Racing Livery Art

Auto racing livery art focuses on the design and visual identity of race cars through color schemes, graphics, and sponsor placement. A well-designed livery not only makes a car visually striking but also helps establish team branding and recognition on the track. Designers must balance creativity with functionality, ensuring graphics work with the car’s shape and remain visible at high speeds. Racing liveries have become an art form of their own, blending graphic design, motorsport culture, and brand storytelling.

On this website you will also find some information about three of my interests outside of art. Those interests are dogs, cars, and computers which you can get to using the navigation bar at the top of the page.
