Our Top 5 Most Needed Items for the Pantry This Month
As we head into a new season, our community’s need for temporary pet assistance is growing! We have seen a huge increase in visitors over the last few weeks, which is wonderful, but it means our shelves are running a little bare in a few key areas.
If you are planning to drop by our location at 1823 Park Lane this week, or if you are hosting a neighborhood drive, here are the top 5 items our community needs most right now:
- Clumping Cat Litter: This is always our most requested item and the hardest to keep in stock!
- Canned Wet Dog Food: Any brand is appreciated, as this is great for our senior dog clients who struggle with dry kibble.
- Small Bags of Kitten Food: Spring brings many new kittens, and their growing bodies need specialized nutrients.
- Gallon-Sized Ziploc Bags: We use these constantly to break down large, bulk bags of donated food into family-sized portions.
- Gently Used Leashes & Collars: Clean, functional walking gear is always a huge help for families who can’t afford new accessories.
Donations can be dropped off during our regular distribution hours on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Short on time? You can also order directly from our online wishlist!
